Margaret Orlando, OTR/L
Better known as "Maggie", I am a lifelong learner, a lover of children, a passionate clinician and an optimist. My belief in service, creativity, science and art led me to the perfect profession. I graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in occupational therapy in 1984 and have been continuously building on my clinical experience and knowledge ever since. The explosion of information in the areas of neurology and neuroplasticity in the past decade, has inspired me to work harder and with more precision to help clients reach their goals.
I have two grown children and continue to practice in the Rochester City Schools. When not practicing OT, I am busy gardening, creating jewelry, reading or spending time with my husband Peter.

I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to work for Maggie! I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Cedarville University and remain interested in all things science.
I am a mother of children with special needs, and have personal experience with accessing pediatric therapy services.
Even as a child, I was interested in learning more about disabilities after exposure to Joni Eareckson Tada's story and children's music. I've grown to realize that it is one of my passions to promote better understanding and advocacy for the needs of people with disabilities (including my own children)! It is my desire that my service at Orlando OT is both professional and helpful at a personal level to our patients and their families.
